Useful Info

Sessions:
The nursery is open 51 weeks of the year (excluding bank holidays).  Our core opening hours are 8am – 6pm but we offer extended care on request.

We operate full day care or morning or afternoon sessions.
Morning session (8am-1pm) includes breakfast, snack, hot lunch & drinks.
Afternoon session (1pm-6pm) includes snack, tea & drinks.

We do ask that your child attends nursery a minimum of three sessions per week.  This ensures that all children settle, develop a relationship with their key worker and enjoy their time at nursery.

Fees are paid monthly in advance by direct debit and are due on the 1st of the month.  Fees will be reviewed annually in January and you will be notified of any changes in advance.

Registration:
If you wish to register a place for your child(ren), please request and complete a registration form and return to the nursery with a £25 registration fee. Please note that the registration fees are non refundable. Food:
Children are provided with healthy well balanced meals and snacks, all made from fresh and where possible local produce.  We also ensure that mealtimes are fun and sociable with the older children helping to serve each other and encourage good table manners.  In line with the latest government health and safety recommendations, we will require you to provide sterilised bottles and milk powder for babies.

Policies:
A copy of our policies can be viewed at the nursery.

Security and Safeguarding:
We have a secure door entry system that enables us to identify callers before allowing them access.

All parents are required to provide a password for their child which we use as additional security when a child is being collected by someone other than their parent. Parents are required to inform us if someone else is collecting their child for them.

We record all accidents and incidents and carry out regular risk assessments to ensure that we take preventative action where necessary. Our policies reflect our practice and are continually being updated. All our staff are vetted for suitability prior to employment, CRB checked and references taken. We have appointed Safeguarding, Health & Safety officers and paediatric trained first aiders on site at all times.
